These puppies are from some of the finest Brittanys and Brittany breeders in the country. These puppies are raised in our home with constant exposure to people and other pets so that they develop a true Brittany temperament. We put a lot of time, energy, care and love into our pups. If you're fortunate enough to be adopting one, it's because we're sure you'll continue where we leave off.

We believe in easy communication. We will be communicating with you by emails, texts and phone calls, you also have access to the litter page on this site where you will find the live video feed and other information about the litter. Once you take your puppy home you will be invited to the Caliah Brittanys Facebook page where you will find other owners of Caliah Brittanys and be able to ask questions or just post your favorite photos and accomplishments of your puppy.
  1. Fill out Application
Please fill out the application. This way we have your information and can connect with you to further answer questions you may have. Please understand that submitting an application is not a guarantee that we will have a puppy available for you, if we do not we will keep the application on file and let you know about future litters.

  2. Place Deposit
Once the puppies are ten days old, we will be asking that you sent a deposit of $500, this will reserve your puppy; this way we will only take as many deposits as we have puppies available. This deposit is non-refundable for any reason other than we are unable to provide you with a puppy because of some unfortunate circumstance.

Common Questions:

How much will a puppy cost
Pricing will be discussed with potential buyers during the initial conversations.

What is the process of picking our puppy?
We will be monitoring the puppies as they grow, evaluating their temperament, structure and as well as testing their 'birdiness'. We will do our best to match each owner with the puppy that best matches what you are looking for.

What is the best spay/neuter timing?
We ask that you hold off on spay/neutering your puppy until they have matured. There are many discussions about early vs later spaying and neutering, but we believe that letting the puppies mature naturally has more benefits than down sides.

Puppy Names
We will be using very generic names for the puppies while we have them all based on the color of the collar that they are assigned at birth such as 'Orange Girl' or 'Blue Boy'. When you receive your puppy you will end up with two names for it; your everyday 'call' name and a registered AKC name. The call name you are free to name your dog anything that you would like. For the AKC name we want to stay with a fixed structure; that structure is starting the name with the kennel name "Caliah" or "Caliah's" and then up to 40 additional characters, the one twist that we ask that you follow on this the rest of the name be associated with the theme of the litter. For example, Penny Blossom's litter was the 'Waterfall' litter and her AKC name is "Caliah's Lotus Blossom Falls" (and yes that is an actual name of a waterfall in Bali, Indonesia).

What happens if I can no longer keep the puppy
If for any reason you can not keep the puppy, it must returned to Caliah Brittanys for re-homing and is not to be released it to a Rescue, Animal Shelter or a Humane Society.

Puppy Health Statement
We follow the American Brittany Club breeders Code of Ethics. To the best of our knowledge your puppy will be healthy when you come to pick it up. From our research, the puppies' pedigree are free of congenital and/or hereditary defects. Your puppy has received the best possible care and has had vaccines appropriate for their age at the time that you pick it up. To insure good health it is critical that you continue your puppy's health program and complete their immunization record. There are no health warranties beyond what is listed here. For a full year from date of birth, we will provide a refund for any of our puppies which has a congenital defect so serious that your and our veterinarians agree it disqualifies the puppy as a pet; beyond that you understand that a puppy is a living creature and may require veterinary care for any number of reasons and we will not reimburse you for any veterinarian bills you may incur, or boarding, maintenance, loss of emotional benefit, consequential damages or any other liability. Please have your puppy examined by your veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase.
